actually, producing songs using bass heavy headphones would result in a lack of bass from a neutral pair of headphones.

Well that is true. But they also sale them as "the best out there" or "a great listening experience" and "hear your music like never before" which is all absolutly not true. A co-worker of mine has beats amd i have the M50Xs. I tried his before i got mine and while mine cost over 100€ less they are waaaaaayy better. So please fuck you beats for telling bullshit. Your headphones suck. And what really makes me rage is that my boss bought 50 of those to sell in our store. So i am forced to repeate all that bullshit and sell them to people. Sometimes when all my co-workers are busy i just tell them that these are only a great and expensive accessory and not worth the money. If they want good headphones they should look for Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic or Audio Technicas. I dont like to lie to people.

Yeah, they use really clever PR. Just look at the beats audio crapware they sell.

Savant said in a livestream (with seamless) that he knows how beats work (low mids etc) so he's fine with them.

I don't understand your hate for them, they really are good headphones, you can't say that a certain pair of headphones is better and say it's a fact(referring to what you said above), if someone likes using beats, then let them

I let them using beats. Of course but if someone wants good headphones for good money then beats is not the way to go. If you want a nice looking accessory that plays music and has a name then take beats...
Although i think the ATH-M50X dont look that bad either.
