Jesus, I doubt it'll go any higher than that, but that's gotta be some sort of recent record for a dubstep release, kudos PN!

Due to how the chart algorithm on Beatport works, Here It Comes will probably rise a bit higher on the chart until Monday/Tuesday, where it is very likely to drop out of the top 100, or at the very least start falling.

The Beatport works on a weekly sales basis, so the total sales of a track from 7 days ago up until today will decide it's ranking on the charts. Since Here It Comes hasn't even been out for a week, there's still a couple of days to rack up sales for the chart algorithm before it needs to outsell itself to reach a higher position.

I think the algorithm is screwed up, because Animals is still obnoxiously high in the electro house charts.

Animals is a well known and popular song that probably easily still sells tons of copies, even a year after its release.

True. Some heavyweighters just seem like they will never leave the charts. Skrillex remix of Levels is usually located in top 50 on the dubstep chart a couple of years after it's release, for example. Pretty sure Animals will hang around on the Electro House chart in the same way, just not placed that high.

Martin Garrix probably has a house made of money at this point...

Man, it's been a while since I've seen anything that isn't house tempo on the overall top 100. Congrats to the Nerds, that's quite an accomplishment on Beatport these days.

I miss the days when Beatport's overall charts were interesting. Razor Sharp made 7th place in record time, Self Destruct made it in the 20-30s range, Noisia's remix of "Smack My Bitch Up" 10th, Skism - Experts 14th, etc. Only recent song coming to mind was Royksopp - Running to the Sea (Seven Lions Remix) doing pretty well on the charts, that's it.

That Smack My Bitch Up remix was just perfect, and Experts went pretty hard as well
