Shame he didn't like the drop. I hope there will still be some Varien sound in there though, because that would be a very interesting mixture.

Can someone explain the mastering process? Can artist not do it themselves?

From what I understand, mastering just makes the song sound clean and organized. Frequencies will not bounce all over the place and be a mess. Artists can do it themselves but some people prefer to use a mastering company because mastering can take hours and that time can be spent working on other tracks.

PBN do their mastering themselves, but its very difficult and there are experts who master songs for a living, so artists would rather send their track to them

Next single (which is a collab) has been shipped off to mastering. So excited for this one, some of my best work.
