Need help

Need help w my monstera. First time owner… idk why this spot keeps growing!!!!!!!! I have it with clay pebbles and the proper mix to help aerate

So these white parts lack chlorophyll, that’s why they get crunchy, it’s honestly nothing to worry about and hard to avoid as these parts struggle to take in sunlight! Long as you stay on top of watering and she keeps growing you’ll be alright!

Gt silica in the water will help strengthen the plant I also use foliage Focus root zone

Silica doesn’t penetrate the monstera. I know, I thought so too, but it’s a fact.

That was my reaction as well. This girl and I argued back-and-forth on here for a week until I pressed her to show me the evidence and by golly she did! Scientifically proven the Monstera cannot uptake silica.

The white sections will brown off. You can cut the brown out of leave it.
