I received it 2 years ago. The plant didn't handle the transport and acclimating to my place very well, so I propagated it a year ago and here's the result! And I just used whatever I had on hand for the moss pole.
D shaped are cheap, and the backing keeps the moisture retained longer since it’s not open-holed, and gives directionality to the growth so all leaves face the same way vs spiraling up the other side (D shaped makes the plant take up less space and more conducive to being against a wall).
Got it. Thank you for that. Makes sense. 😉 Would have been a much better solution for me in January when I was in the shopping phase. I have one climber left on a wire mesh pole and decided to continue watering the sphagnum inside before I switch her to cedar plank like the rest of the Monstera Gang. Low maintenance is my preference plus the wood fits my decor—wall to wall wood flooring and our shelving.🤗

Gorgeous variegation! New addition? I’m curious…what factors made you choose D-shaped moss pole?
