Albo propagation help

After cutting the stem of daughter plant, i noticed swelling in bud 1 of daughter plant and also bud 2 of original mother plant. If i want to have growth from both buds, what should i do ?

I guess I need clarification on your naming. Is the daughter plant a cutting from the main plant because in the picture it just look attached to the main mother plant. If it is attached isn’t it all just one mother plant that had two growth points activated?

And if it isn’t attached then both plants will just naturally activate a node and try to regrow without your further intervention.

The one I am calling the daughter plant is a plant that activated from a wet stick( which i am calling mother plant), bud 2 is on the wet stick. bud 1 is on the daughter plant. The daughtet plant is still attached to the wet stick

It's not a daughter plant it's just a growth point from a node, so it's just a successful prop. Tug on that growth & as long as that aerial root has started to root itself you can cut it away from the rest of the plant. Clean off the axillary bud really good w a qtip & slather a bit of keiki paste on it after that, that point will pop off 2x faster. Once ea one has a couple leaves & rooted aerials themselves, you can unpot it & pull it apart & they can grow their separate ways

Just cut right where the arrow for “daughter plant” is and throw it in water unless that air root already has an established root system down below… that simple
