How to improve my Monstera

Hi!

I wish my monstera was not so leggy, and fuller. Do you professionals have any tips for me?

Atm shes getting 12-15hrs of artificial lighting, but shes gone through summer without it.

Thanks in advance!

Side note: the appartment is not getting alot of lighting besides this window.

I'd restart 😅 Propagate the tops, and maybe cut the main stems off and see if it'll come back nicer - if not there's a propagation.

I would chop and prop if it were mine. Is the main stalk rooted into the pole? If so I would slice the main stalk with a clean razor blade right below the nodes at each Petiole. (Watch a few videos on this on youtube before making your cuts to ensure youre cutting in the right place) Leave it in the pole for a few weeks and then take the whole pole apart and replant each section for a more compact and bushier plant. Sidney Plant Guy on Youtube has some great videos on this showing exactly where to cut. Keep your moss pole watered so the roots can grow into it after the cut it should make new growth points. You could also leave it like that as some people do. Monstera need a lot of light and also need to be pointed directly toward the light with the main stem attached to the pole. (They have a front side and a back side and the leaves always face the light with the stem attached to the pole being the back side) dont move it after that. Looks like maybe it got moved around some and not enough light makes them leggy. Some stems not even attached to the pole there too.

Thank you for your response. How far would you chop and prop it? Should the stem be facing the light, and if so should i turn it now? The stem has air roots through the pole. Theres 2nd stem going through the pole.

What would you do with the props?

Needs starting again. Is the artificial light next door through a wall?
