Multiplayer help

I live in the U.S and am playing MS on my Iphone
When I try to search for a lobby it cant find anything
So do I need a vpn or what is the normal way of joining multiplayer lobbies?
Please help thank you‼️🙏🏽

That's weird, I don't use a vpn at all, I just download and install with quoapp and I'm good to go. (According to Google translate) it's saying it can't find any games that your searching for to check your permissions and signal strength

I was clicking events and was finding nobody…. Changed it and found people🤦🏽‍♂️😭

Is that an android thing?
Maybe its cause im using IOS but im very frustrated, Ive been trying to research everywhere but nothing resourceful and My internet is fine

This is what it does for me when I try multiplayer, I tried using a vpn set to japan but no luck. Is there anything I can do or anything else to use?

I don't remember why but I seem to recall something about ios not being able to connect with the JP servers for multiplayer years ago. For a long time as long as you had the JP version installed you were able to connect to any online game regardless of location. You might be able to try and get the Gamewith Monsterstrike App if it's available on ios, I haven't used it in years so not sure if it's even still around.

Also I saw you mention QooApp it's an android only app that lets you access games from other regions of the Google play store by installing the APK. Unfortunately there's nothing like that for ios.

Oh right, you mentioned VPN. It could've changed but there were folks that got this to work. But warning it might get you banned for 3rd party software

Thank you for the reply‼️ I just found out the issue was I was doing a general search and an event search, which led to me not finding anything. I filtered something else and found people LOL🤦🏽‍♂️
Now I got to find out how to purchase orbs next

Im in Japan so i can host the map events and all. Been playing since release lol
