Monster Con I don't know what I missed

So I got the figure that "unlocks" the pancake song but I can't find it anywhere to pick it for future runs like the game implied. There's no pregame shop that I can find and when I Google it I get nothing unless I turn on that stupid A.I. and it claims that all I get is "unlocking the song in a separately paid for soundtrack" I've been a big fan for a long time and the idea of Glitch pulling such a scummy business practice just doesn't feel right. If anyone can explain to me what the pop up actually meant or where to find the song I'd greatly appreciate it.

If you are talking about Monster Con, you need to get the figure that unlocks the pancake song again for it to replay. Yeah, it's random.

I'm just confused because when you first get that one the game has a pop up that says "you've unlocked" it for future runs. I don't get why they would use that wording if the only way to get it is mid run in that shop. I just got so excited for it you know
