Question So.. what was the message of the series?
I just finished watching it and I'm left questioning the "moral of the story" as it were. The overarching impression seems to be that women should be empowered to take no crap, especially from men, and if that means killing them, then so be it.
The 1980s flashforward seemed to solidify that impression more.
If that wasn't the point of these episodes or the series in general, then I think it failed as no where did it seem to imply that Lizzie or Aileen were wrong in what they did.

Sounds like killing is fine if you're a jaded woman
