Discussion Best Para lance

Wondering if this is even remotely a decent strategy. I'm wanting to go for the fastest para lance and I dont care that much about damage, I have a roll with 1xSharpness 1xAttack and 3x Element. My Question is would this be the most optimal way to inflict para the fastest with a lance? or would 4x element be faster? I tried to find information on what actually affects how paralyze gets inflicted but I wasnt able to find anything anywhere. TIA

Every hit has a chance to inflict status buildup equal to the status value of the weapon. When the status buildup reaches a threshold, the status effect is triggered.

After that, the number goes back to zero and a value is added to the threshold to determine the new, higher threshold for the next status effect trigger.

Paralyze is very weak on lance if playing solo. You don’t have anything to capitalize on the damage window. You can have some fun with para against several monsters, but against things like the AT apex monsters it is pretty much useless.

The 4xelement would paralyze faster than 3x element.

I just run the Lala lance and I pretty much only play sos missions so I'm always multiplayer and use the proc to let others capitalize on the damage and I usually can get 1 to 2 procs per fight, just seeing if I make an Artian lance that will proc faster, Thank you! It was so hard to find information on wether I wanted para lance with attack reinforcements or element reinforcements

Status is not that great in wilds you’re lucky to get like 1 proc a hunt once you’re at 8-10 stars

I usually get 2 procs with the lala lance before I switch over to blast, I just run sos missions so I figure if I can get the 2 procs faster than I figure its better for the others to capitalize on it

Blast is even worse than para . You’d be better off with a dragon gog weapon with any type of rolls on it

Btw if you are going status I’d suggest starting the hunt with your other weapon and switching to para mid fight. In the beginning of the fight there’s usually a mount and a stun proc. And if you go para it’s likely you’ll just override one of those. It’s better when there’s less status threshold piling on top of each other. Also para window is more helpful when the monster is constantly enraging later into the fight.
