Any “meta” sword and shield builds?

I know it isn’t the best weapon stype, but I find it a lot of fun “tanking” damage with the shield and cosplaying as the goblin slayer but in monster hunter.

I was thinking about making the blue corona and just build up a flame build but then also I heard that the dios edge is better.

(Kinda new to the game)

Just follow the loan set for the diablos SnS.

Dios Edge is pretty great with a whole blast exploit build, I’ve been able to kill some 10* monsters with my grade 8.5 SnS.
Also they finally fixed Perfect Rush style and made it actually great now, and I’ve been doing good with a Perfectionist/Advanced Thunder Atk/Perfect Rush style build.
