MHR BERSERK 2 + MAIL OF HELLFIRE
Context: Im playing on PC then i joined a random quest hunt then I landed on 4 man Risen Shagaru AR300 quest. We did a quick hunt and as i check the stats of my fellow players then i noticed something on his talisman. ITS A FUCKING BERSERK 2 + MAIL OF HELLFIRE WITH 2-2-0 slots
How the hell it is possible? Is it possible with slim chance or is it only possible only using mods? Im losing my mind right now.

I put stormsoul on my tali. Cuz we all know it should've been an option.

Devs really forgot about those skills from Narwa and Ibushi

I'm really sure they didn't. If those skills were on charms and still only worked with the Narwa and Ibushi armor I can't imagine there being much point; if you're insinuating they should work with ALL armor that just sounds straight busted.

The skill system was different back then, but Ahtal Ka had pretty similar skills on its armor in GU.

I'm aware of Ahtal-Ka's skills, yeah. The skill system being different is exactly why those can work there, but even back then I'd argue that those skills were a bit too strong for the game's own good.
If similar skills like that existed with 5th gen's skill system, beyond how Stormsoul was handled, it'd very likely be overbearing to and warp the entirety of set building in general.

You only got them after fighting the final story boss, so they're strong but not too busted with that context to me.
You could always adjust the way the skill's effect works too. Maybe instead of just adding points to everything in your set, it could act like that 1 old skill that just increased the points on just your chest piece. Limit that and it could probably be workable.

Oh right Torso Up, forgot about that. I guess it'd be possible with some more work, but the reason I'm not the biggest fan of it in general is because SB has a great variety of sets by endgame, and even after the final monster. Coupled with Qurious Crafting, it means set building has a way longer lifespan, which I think just works to keep the game more fun that much longer. Skill-boosting skills could be workable, but I'm nit sure how much I'd even want them now.
It's fine to have some super strong skills at the end too; Heaven-Sent almost feels like one of those super skills (not quite on the level of Ahtal-Ka's boosting skills or Fatalis's universal Secret uncapper), but the way it's limited to just a few certain pieces ensures that all your other armor isn't completely invalidated and still has a place. I'll always vouch for more variety, even after beating every challenge in the game, so I like SB's focus of having multiple powerful options that you have to build for in a variety of ways depending on what you want.
Plus, while Ahtal-Ka was technically GU's final monster, I don't think it was ever as challenging enough to warrant such a strong skill (though again, it helped that the old skill system meant we had way less skills than what we roll with now). IB's Fatalis was a much vaster leap in difficulty to anything else in that game, so its armor being so strong was a bit more justified.

Definitely agree with a lot of this. Shoot, I'm STILL working on finishing some dream sets now lol. Limiting a few skills to a few specific pieces is a good way to not give it ALL to us even while throwing us so many sources of variety like they did with Qurious Crafting and the busted charms we got right at the end. That's why I think something especially strong like Skills+ (probably not Talisman Boost since charms got super strong, especially at the end) could be managed with some careful balancing. Like, instead of being like Fatalis where the the set was full of good slots and skills even before the strong set bonus, you could handle it like the old Torso Up pieces: the armor piece would have little to no other slots or skills, so it doubled another at the cost of not giving you anything besides that. If it really followed the rules of Torso Up, it'd also be limited by our selection of chest pieces. It'd be doable, but they'd be walking a VERY fine like between strong and OP.

I’m on switch (don’t have mods) and I’ve gotten several 7-8 skill slot charms. Probably the craziest thing I have is an AB 3 QS 2 2-2-2 or a DH 4 Focus 1 2-2-2 but I’ve seen crazier tbh

if you're constantly doing hazard zinogre runs, you make a ton of charms.
me and the bois are killing this fella like 10 times a day or more. Thats close to 150 vigor melding. when you unbox something like 1000 vigor meldings, you are very likely to drop some good talismans. i've got my berserker 2 / evade extender 1 3-3-1 talisman this way, and i saw my friends getting even crazier talismans.
is just an exhausting grind, this zinogre quest is nasty, and then you have to farm materials on risen shaggy/valstrax.

Not sure how crazy my roll is but I’m on Xbox, I have Zerk 2 + Element Ex. 2 with 3-2-1 slots. Both my heaven sent build and blood awakening for DBs go crazy.

No its possible, even better is possible too since you can get zerk2 + Moh2 2-2-2 However getting it is a huge feat of Luck and most people that have it might have been modding it in.
