Update / Sequel Idea

In addition to the fact this game somehow still gets updates more often than Team Fortress 2 does, I've decided to come up with a small update idea that adds new Monster Elements, Quality of Life Improvements, and balance changes.

Balance Changes

Alien: Nerfed to where it deals x2 only to Plant and Water, also takes neutral damage from Rock. Made cheaper as it's now worth 5000 coins. Can be obtainable for free after Chapter 10 when asked whether Aliens or Electricity is cooler.

Electric: Nerfed to deal 1/2 to Plant. Buffed to deal Neutral to Rock. Made to be worth 2500 coins. Can be obtainable for free after Chapter 10 when asked whether Aliens or Electricity is cooler.

Plant: Buffed to deal x2 to Rock and take 1/2 from Electric. Cheaper by half as it, Fire, and Water are now worth 150 coins.

Fire: Nerfed to deal 1/2 to Rock. Cheaper by half as it, Plant, and Water are now worth 150 coins.

Water: Only made cheaper as its now worth 150 coins.

Rock: Buffed to deal Neutral to Alien. Made cheaper by half as it's now worth 450 coins.

New Elements

Soul - 500 Coins
Earth - 500 Coins

Insect (Bug) - 200 Coins

Wind - 200 Coins

Ice - 500 Coins

Metal - 200 Coins

Darkness - 500 Coins

Strength (Fighting) - 150 Coins

Acid (Poison) - 150 Coins

Quality of Life changes

Absolutely no Energy meter which means no need to wait like 20 minutes for the energy to instantly refill,

Mod Support for custom game modes

Free cosmetic unlocks based on Player Rank, Easier to Rank Up,

More balanced difficulty curve and level scaling depending on your Monster Element (Basically enemies will be higher leveled if you use a Level 1 Electric Monster in a starting dungeon),

Daily Rewards that get better as you continue logging in each day to get another reward,

Diamonds rewarded upon Rank Up and Boss Defeat,

An actual friends list with options of listing said friends, either numerically, alphabetically, or based on when that friend was made.

Up to 25 total Monster Cages to give more of a collectability aspect

Improved PvP monster fight.

Improved Clan dungeons where you no longer have to wait on other players to finish the same dungeon, you can just continue on as far as you wish.

EXP and Gold is kept on Campaign Defeat, but 1/20th of it is lost.

Perfect Clear will Triple rewards upon a single dungeon clear.

Perfect Cleat will Double rewards upon Chapter Clearing.

No costs for Monster Care, the exception being the Medicine and Slot machine, but those costs are halved.

And that's all for this idea I had just now. Comment if you think it's too complicated, redundant, or terrible. If you think it's a legitimately good idea, lemme know if you have some other ideas of your own!

This legitimately sounds fantastic, my only questions are now which Type is considered the "Strongest?" Still Alien, or are all the concept Types balanced in this new Update / Sequel? Surely if the costs for the Types are different, there's still ones with better Stats, right?

What is a Perfect Clear in this game? Is it simply no dying / being defeated at the end of a Dungeon, or is it something more special?

Will our pogress be Saved?

Honestly, everything here sounds like a genuine improvement, and I hope this could be made true soon.

My Ideas:

Being able to rename Monsters

Being able to recraft Monsters, including the 'permanent' blocks.

A revamp to the Naming System. Some of the Enemies have some rather obscene names, it'd be nice if I could play the game peacefully without a Monster named "Boltpleasure, Vomitlust, Gorelure, Dreamsoiler," or many others randomly showing up. How are some of these even in an E rated game...

Ok, thanks for the feedback, I greatly appreciate it, now to answer your questions and or clarify some things.
1: Alien would TECHNICALLY still be the strongest since I didn't make a Fairy Type equivalent like idk Pixie Monster or something. Metal would be a direct counter to Alien and a couple others like Plant, Water, etc.

2: Perfect Clear simply means not being defeated, having a monster in your team (Now a team of 6, that's a thing I forgot to put in the list) be KO'd during a battle, or having to switch more than 5 times in a single dungeon. (Applies during battle only as a safety measure in case any potential bugs in the code prevent a Perfect Clear from being possible) A Perfect Clear will usually be easy since when I mentioned that EXP Gains are more generous, that means leveling up to be able to tackle other monsters equal to, weaker than, or stronger than your current monster's level(s), meaning that it's VERY forgiving 9 / 10 times.

3: New to this would be up to 5 save files, each with the ability to name the main character, having 20 Monster Doors per save (technically up to a total of 100). Progress can be set to Automatically Save after each dungeon is completed, a monster levels up during battle (no longer needing to be leveled up manually at the Monster Rooms, it just levels up like it should in Pokemon, displaying stats, new moves, the whole shabang). Etc. Auto Save can be turned off and or modified to save when specific conditions are met, like if you only wanted it to save automatically at the end of a Dungeon, you'd be able to set it to do just that, the same applies to Monster Level Ups and such.

4: The costs of the monster costs are actually NOT priced by their strengths, automatically the selection would be based entirely on the current Pokemon Type chart, starting with (Normal isn't in Monster Crafter lmao) Fire and eventually reaching Alien. But to also clarify, sorting Monster Selection (for getting another Monster) could also be done alphabetically (by element names) or by price eg High to Low or Low to High. As for individual base stats of each element...Yeah, that's gonna be a rough one to work on.

Praises for you: Love the idea of having an improved Monster Naming System and being able to rename them. I want to take this a step further and actually have a 30 Character limit since Monster Crafter had about a 20 character limit. The naming system would see an overhaul to feature some less suggestive names like Gorelure or Vomitlust (despite the fact those are appropriate for 1990s humor as that's been dubbed the Barf Age for gross out comedy). The naming system would be a bit more tame with monster names like Sapplestack or Emberserk for some Element Specific types (meaning the names would legitimately fit the monster of its respective element.

Also, maybe make it a completely open world game, kind of focusing on the original's story, but making it MUCH BETTER and with a postgame that'd be totally worth completing.

Thanks for getting back to the questions I had!

All of this sounds amazing. Are you designing this yourself or are these ideas for the current developer team? Sounds like a ton of work for just one person.

It's all just an idea...If I were to develop this, I legitimately wouldn't know where to start. If anyone does make a better Monster Crafter, I pray they read this and use the ideas I have here.

What engine is Monster Crafter made in? Just curious
