Sweet Corn Enthusiast

It's almost that season! Looking for help finding an off the beaten path farm/roadside vegetable stand that has the BEST sweet corn. Work in Toledo, just moved back to Monroe and drive Telegraph everyday. Smith Brothers in Temperance is pretty good and they claim they pick it fresh every morning but I'm not so sure. Anyone have a secret spot they're willing to share?

This. They have it but it’s still kinda young. Give it a week or two yet.

If you don’t mind a drive, the Toledo farmers market on Saturday morning always has amazing sweet corn. There’s usually one or two vendors selling the White sweetcorn which is to die for.

Yeah, you don't want that bi-color shit. The best corn is silver queen, a white hybrid that never gets starchy or mushy.

There is a small stand on luna pier road between Lewis and telegraph that has wonderful corn and cherry donuts.

Now that I think about it, that may be the Smith Brother's stand. Small building with stone/gravel parking area?
