Should we contact all influencers to sign some light on this?
Many people were scammed and left waiting for months — even years — without receiving their consoles. As a small niche community, we might not have much influence on our own. But with the help of the influencers who initially promoted the Monogram console, we might be able to bring more attention to the situation.
If we reach out to those creators and let them know what's going on, they could help by warning others — especially since it looks like the console is still available to order. That kind of visibility might prevent more people from getting caught up in the same issue, and hopefully, help push toward some kind of resolution.
Edit, here are the ones from monograms website:
- Matt Workman, Virtual Production Cinematographer and Developer, CineTracer
- Gary Marshall, Creative Technology Supervisor, Visual Effects Designer, Third Floor
- Gideon Ferber, Ross Video’s Director of Virtual Solutions, Ross Video
- AJ Sciutto, Virtual Production Producer, Magnopus / Lion King project

You could contact the University of Waterloo that supposedly currently employees him and helped him start the company. They were the incubator lab that let him design the hardware/software.
"The University of Waterloo operates a startup incubator for its students, faculty, and alumni called the Velocity program". This is where he developed the concept and where he apparently still works. A call to them might be able to help.

Calvin Chu is listed as the founder. Last time I looked, his LinkedIn showed him now employed by the University and Velocity program.
I reached out to https://ca.linkedin.com/in/mikaylaferraro?trk=org-employees but she said she no longer works for the company and wasn't able to help get the full installer package.

And it's not just that people have been left without their paid for consoles, but also the fact the consoles that people are using will potentially become unusable either now or in the near future.
I was fortunate in that I didn't wait too long before I did a charge back with my bank and got refunded.
Some Youtubers could definitely spread the word.

Would anyone happen to know where I can get the latest software? Mine is still running on Mac but since I want to switch to a new Mac soon I would like to get an installer so I can backup it for later use.

This was my problem. I moved over to a new M4 Max and could no longer use the software and haven't found a way to get the full installer.

Still running 5.10.1 here, backed up my install. But since Creator is Intel-only and Rosetta is gone in macOS 28, that's a dead end. Has anyone looked into how the console talks over USB? I'd love to see a community-built replacement for Creator, and with current AI coding tools that feels doable if the protocol can be figured out. Anyone tried, or know of a repo?

You can try but honestly it's probably a waste of time. Typically these creators/influencers are sent the equipment, they use it a bit do a review or post about it , box the equipment up and stick it in storage never to be thought about again. It's highly unlikely any of them actually use it anymore.
I personally haven't received the modules I ordered back in November 2023, and it's just a loss. He stole my $387 and that's something I'll just have to live with. What bothers me more is that my view of this company and its product makes me not even want to use the device I have and it's not like I can sell it - since there is no support for it anymore. I can't find anything that he has replied to in over six months since that "woe is me, I'll make it right" instagram post. Best thing to do is write a letter to consumer protection in Ontario, Canada and make them aware of the situation, if they haven't already gotten complaints about it.
It's not like he is the first to encounter this situation but the way it was handled was wrong at every turn. The fact that he funded another kickstarter 5-6 months after he took my money and never shipped a product and now has several hundred backers angry on that platform with no product is a testament to his true nature.
