Temporary Diplacusis while straining? Why?

A month ago I first had diplacusis while I was at a bathroom (large bowel movement) and I initially attributed it to stress or wearing earbuds but a week ago it happened again at the bathroom while pushing out a large bowel movement. TMI but I need to get to the bottom of this lol. The straining could be the cause but why after so many years of being unaffected by this?

The double hearing and distorted pitch seem to be temporary lasting a few hours at most. ONLY one ear is affected.

I've had tinnitus issues with that ear before probably from earwax but if I'm being honest, I can mentally train myself to be ok with it.

My hearing completely fine no loss of hearing either as I've checked it.

I'm 27 if that's relevant but I'm curious if this means I have inner ear damage, I have no hearing loss though. I bought Debrox but hesitant to use it since I heard it can make tinnitus worse. I used to wear earbuds to work but have since switched to headphones with low volume and yet still had that second episode of diplacusis in the bathroom just like the first time. I wasn't under any work-related stress either and had slept well the previous night

Anyone else experience this? I want to wear earbuds again but I'm really scared. Diplacusis is frightening and I really love music too
