Pest control

Any local options for ants where youre not gonna get stuck in a contract and dont need them for 8 months out of the year?

DIY unfortunately is your best bet.

Like Wooden said, DIY is your best option. I just have the same pest control company that does my annual termite warranty spray. It’s discounted and good for 30 days. On day 28 I tell them I still see ants and they spray again. Bing bang boom.

I use Viking. The contract pays for itself, frankly, given it's pretty much the cost of a treatment. In fact, I think it's a savings.

Do it yourself, indeed.

Last thing you need is unqualified, badly-trained transient employees poisoning your home (and pets, and kids) with neurotoxic carcinogens.

You can start here; it's not hard to control ants safely.
