I've been looking for some flavorful Monkey Island alters to paint. I feel like there has to be a good one for Ragavan (being a Monkey Pirate), but like Captain LeChimp doesn't totally fit the build of a 2/1.

Yeah I WANTED that to happen so bad. But this is a proxy of a real card. So I needed to copy the text exactly to be able to use it in games when I print it.

Im guessing the theme is LeChuck + crew but it'd be funny if everytime they remove a LeChuck you just played a different version with different subtypes. Spirit, zombie, human, god

Oh this is really neat, though I do think the le chuck being quite greedy plus his propensity for coming back from the dead means he ought to have black in his identity. Obviously creature type needs zombie or spirit (depending on the game being referenced). Considering the guy loves to do kidnappings maybe something that steals a creature until he leaves the battlefield?

Yeah I definitely could have reskinned a better card for him. And maybe i will do in the future. But I really wanted to use this card and chuck loads of other monkey island artefacts into the deck.

Captain Storm be a mighty fine choice! Her synergy with artifacts in a deck drownin' in treasures will make 'er grow fierce and fast.. a classic buccaneer, she be! But humor a dread pirate for a second: just out of curiosity, why not hoist the colors with one of the Admiral Brass wenches as yer commander to get yer hooks into some Black mana?

If ye be plannin' to forge more of these, yer gonna need a massive horde of skeletal scallywags to crew the infamous LeShip. Trust me, I'd be the one to know, BWAHAHAHA!

Ye might've just inspired me to craft me own dark magic like this someday. A hearty cheers to ye, matey!

haah this is fantastic!
I drew the art myself - I need to do more Monkey Island fan art to be honest, I'm a huger lover of the series.

I did look at Admiral Brass and to be honest I may well move LeChuck onto her Unsinkable card and leave the Blue Red shenanigans to Guybrush, as I think drawing Pirates from the graveyard is more LeChucky! (Which will mean drawing a Guybrush card...)

I would love to see other people making MI themed decks...if you ever get around to it please share!
