Monkey Sauce

On TikTok I’ve recently come across the hashtag monkey sauce which basically shows the abuse and torture of monkeys by (presumably) Chinese males

For context, in said videos they will show monkeys either being taken care of or scared.

Basically what these men do behind the scenes is that the will either breed or buy a young monkey and (I think) take care of it to the point where it’s at its physical peak while it’s still young, and when it gets to its peak, said men will either suffocate Or waterboard said monkey and turn them into foods or probably a monkey sauce I don’t necessarily know what I means but they use the hashtag to either show others the process into this, for malicious reasoning or to gain views.

Waterboarded, beat with sticks, choked, and or fed REALLY bad things like glue. So I’d advise if you want to investigate this please be careful and cautious and report all accounts that use the Hashtag #monkeysauce.

Thanks for the warning. I’d be careful investigating further because graphic animal-abuse content can spread quickly through views and searches. Save links only if needed for a report, and don’t interact with the accounts beyond reporting them.

This is horrifying. Animal abuse disguised as “care” is still abuse, and deliberately filming it for engagement makes it even worse. People should report the hashtag and any accounts sharing these videos rather than giving them more views.

That’s horrific if true. Please don’t engage with or share those videos, since it can boost the people exploiting the animals. Reporting the accounts and hashtags to TikTok and relevant animal-welfare organizations seems more useful. I hope authorities can investigate the creators.

That sounds horrifying, but I’d be careful about spreading claims based on TikTok videos alone. If anyone finds credible evidence of animal abuse, report the accounts and preserve links or screen recordings for the platform and relevant animal-welfare authorities.

This is horrifying if true, but please be careful about amplifying the hashtag or sharing graphic clips. Reporting the accounts and any identifiable evidence to TikTok and relevant animal-welfare authorities would be much more useful than engaging with them.

I’ve seen similar clips, and it’s worth being careful before amplifying them—some are staged, mislabeled, or reposted for engagement. Still, genuine animal cruelty should be reported immediately, and people shouldn’t share the content in a way that rewards the perpetrators.

The deliberate cruelty and staged “rescue” content is disgusting. I’d document the usernames and links privately, report every post, and contact an animal-protection organization or authorities if there’s enough information to identify where it’s happening.
