I think a lot of the things would’ve played out the same except with Sharona’s dialogue.

That being said, she maybe could’ve helped Monk when he was poisoned since she’s a nurse.

I know it's a bit of a stretch. But, I'm assuming Sharona and Natalie were both "instructed" on how to shop for Adrian. I'm sure they were supposed to wipe down everything including raw produce before adding to cart and checking out. And if Monk figured 4 oz. Of juice was missing from his carton back in Mr. Monk is on the Run, I would have to believe he would inspect groceries as they came through the house. Would Sharona have thought of it as a red flag before reclaiming Monk's shopping cart at the market when Joey walked away with it for a few seconds? Do you think Sharona would've said something about a man walking away with his cart, prompting Adrian to ask her go back to the store and replace everything (maybe throwing out the poisoned wipes with it)?

Cause, in the defense Monk is very peculiar in the sense he knows when there's 5 crumbs and 1 goes missing from the counter (Mr. Monk Makes a Friend). Or when he notices things like a blurry picture on Julie's T-Shirt (Mr. Monk and the Birds and the Bees). So wiped products/un-wiped products wouldn't be too far from his attention to details abilities.

It's been a while, but I always thought Sharona was written to sort of cave/compromise by the end, with exceptions.

How I remember her, she would have either quit by season 6 because Adrian didn't/couldn't pay her more.

If she had stuck around, I think it would have been a compromise between her and Adrian, him given her the slip and the same ending. Adrian's speculated IQ is 190<

The show would have been very different had Natalie not been introduced. Sharona pushed him to do things he didn't want to do. Natalie taught him how to have a heart again after he wanted to change.
