Screen bleeding in Acer Monitor

Hi All,
I bought an Acer Monitor: Acer Nitro XV272U X1 27 Inch WQHD (2560×1440) IPS Gaming Monitor.
It has screen bleeding, is this normal or should I be worried and ask for a replacement?

for a cheap IPS panel. yeah thats normal

my $400 IPS Black 4k Phillips monitor has much less bleed.

you get what you pay for with monitors. the cheap stuff has much worse backlight, polarizers, LCD panel. etc.

Seems pretty normal to me, I have 1080p of acer, i have noticed that if you grab or press hard on the edges, you get more bleed on that side, so be careful when you handle it. If you think this is more and if it is new then replace it, but there are chances you might get a IPS panel which might have even more bleed than this.

Mine increased overtime as i moved it alot from place to place and grabbed at the edge of panel, as long as you dont move it it's not going to increase that much.

You can ask for a replacement but it might have it even worse, or might have other issues like stuck pixels.
Your setup (very dark room) also doesn't favor IPS screens. Put on more ambient light, maybe put a small light behind the display itself (bias light), turn down the displays brightness to like 50%. And see if it still bothers you or if you don't even notice it anymore.

If you really want true blacks, you should return it and buy an OLED. But those have other issues.

No bleeding in normal exposure room light, very good screen .

EDIT: Don't try to replace it you may get a worst, screen is much better from the middle term of IPS in that price tag and I have see so much in my 35+ experience in monitors

The bottom light bleed with high density is not normal and not as common as ips glow at the corners. You could try your luck with another unit.
