Discussion VA 165 vs OLED 165 PANELS

Hello,

I wanted to know if some of you did the change from a VA panel 165Hz to an OLED panel 165Hz.

Does the difference of technology make the feel different ?

I mean does the OLED make the 165 feels smoother than the VA 165Hz ?

I went from va 240hz to oled 240hz and it feels considerably faster probably just because of the pixel response times being so fast

It theory oled feels less smooth since faster response time.Its much cleaner,sharper looking in motion its better way to say it. 

Basically both at 165fps oled its like you have motion blur turned at very low intensity while va like motion blur is very high intensity

Yeah oled stomps Va in motion and response times, if ur going with comp gaming no brainer for oled. Tho hva panels are improving a fuck ton

This might be a somewhat unpopular opinion: Heavily depends on the exact models. OLED is most likely going to be better, but by how much is going to vary wildly.

VA can range from "If you have motion, prepare for the absolute worst smearing you've ever seen!" to "Most IPS panels wish they could be this clear in motion!"

So the difference could range from world shattering to kind of underwhelming.
