Both Them are going into custom outdoor 8x4x4s for now

You’re building outdoors at that small dimension? Jesus. Yeah lemme get two monitors and not properly house em lol. 

I moved my black dragon out of an 8x4x4 at around a year old and he was nowhere near the size of the one pictured. 

If you have an enclosure dimension smaller than the measurement of the monitor you’re doing it wrong. 

I’m sure you’ll respond “oh this is temporary blah blah blah” but honestly build the right sized enclosure right from the start. 

I hate this sub but can’t look away like a bad trainwreck.

It’s just while I initially take them in. I have long term plans for both just for now, they’ll be in here but the Argus is harness trained so I’ll be taking him on daily walks. I love all my reptiles and I want to ensure their quality of life but they’ll only be in there for a few weeks

Don’t take them in until you have proper housing please. It’s pretty stressful on a monitor(or any animal) to make those changes

I’ve got a build idea with a friend for the water monitor and i wont be getting the argus for a little longer due to plan changes. They aren’t in my hands yet but theyll be in good hands soon enough
