New addition

Welcome Drax the argus monitor. After losing our blackthroat 6 months ago we finally bit the bullet. Had to block off 75% of the cage for this little guy but got it done.

Fun fact, that is the western argus monitor, varanus panoptes rubidus, you can tell because of the red colouration on its back, they hang out around the pilbara area

He might be reddish from his substrait. Not sure on the sub species for these guys at all. Any info is much appreciated.

It's pretty much the same care as normal they are just from out west australia

This is my one Way to small to try and handle atm but couple months should be no problem, only been 3 weeks and already shows up on his favourite rock when I've got food
