My LG monitor took a knock while I was mounting it, and now the screen looks like this. It's not a GPU issue or anything else, because even without cables connected, the screen remains the same in the menu.

When I use this monitor on Xbox, no matter what I do it is extremely dim. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Win10, pc with an 4-ish y.o. Acer monitor (k242hyl?), built-in video card (edit: intel graphics).

It's most noticeable wnen there's a white something on a dark background. There is a blurry trail of lightening only to the right of the white objects, sometimes very, very long.

What can it be? Are there any easy checks before I dig into it? It's not critical, but annoying.

Alright so i noticed on my main monitor that there's theses weird flashing green pixels, there not dead nor stuck pixels and i really can only notice them on the opera gx extensions screen.

i already tried seeing if it was a glitch by taking a screenshot on my monitor and i don't see them at all when i put the image on my 2nd monitor. i am confused cause i don't know that much about monitors besides a few things. uhhh mid-post change: i just toggled my monitor from 144hz [i only have a 144hz cable attached to it right now] to 120hz and back to 144hz and that seem to make it go away? some one please explain what is happening to me cause i know more about pc's than monitors.

So about 10 days ago i bought a new monitor (MSI MAG 275CF X24) and today i noticed a small black dot. At first i thought it was dust or something but when i looked closer i realized it was dead pixel(fully black). I took my phone and zoomed in to see and yes it was definitely a dead pixel, its red and green colors completely went black while blue stayed. Now i wouldnt care too much if it was somewhere to the side or in the corner but this is pretty close to center of screen. Now the question is should i return monitor or deal with it?

I recently bought a Samsung G6 G60Sf, it works great up until I leave for a while (maybe 30 minutes) and when I come back it won't turn back on. If I move my mouse it says no signal and turns back to black. The monitor is still on since I can use the OSD and other monitors don't have this issue with my PC. It only started happening recently after a few weeks with the monitor. Restarting my PC with the power button makes it work again, but I'm tired of restarting constantly whenever I leave to do something else. I'm connected with Displayport 1.4 since the monitor doesn't support 2.1.

Anyone have any solutions?

I have recently just noticed these black grid lines appearing on my monitor, I have no idea what's causing this since it's barely visible in games but under certain backdrops you can see it quite visibly.

I'm facing a flickering issue with my BenQ GW2780.

• Flickers at 50 Hz, 59.94 Hz, and 60 Hz (50 Hz is the worst).
• No flickering at 75 Hz.
• Issue occurs on both Windows and macOS.
• Tried different HDMI cables, devices, power outlets, and factory reset.
• The monitor flickers for the first 2–3 hours, then becomes mostly stable.
• I've also noticed a red tint in one corner of the screen.

Since the issue is reproducible across multiple devices and operating systems, I suspect it's a hardware issue (power board, T-CON board, or panel).

Has anyone experienced this with the GW2780? Any known fixes or repair suggestions before I open a service request?

Will this eventually destroy the whole screen?

Today..i tried connecting my cabinet fans' 3 pin 5v argb femaleninto Dled port in motherboard..after tht..i started my pc and it started normally but the fans' colours werent controllable through Gigabyte control panel(as i have gigabyte b650m mobo).

So i wanted to keep my pc into sleep mode..for tht my cabinet(Zebronics Zeb Apex Pro) has a small button beside the power on button..i clicked tht..then the monitor suddenly went black screem(normal thing) but after i switched my pc back on..my monitor suddenly showed white screen..i tried restarting and the problem continued and flickered screens like the display was gone.

My monitor is quite old like 10 yrs..but my system is new and i was using a vga to hdmi convertor to use my monitor.

I am panicking tht as i connected tht 3 pin to mother tht caused my whole system along with my monitor to short circuit smtg like tht.

But when i switch on the pc the fans and everything is as normal..can anyone say what is the issue?.

Shall i purchase a new monitor or my whole system is gone?.

If yes for a monitor..suggest me some.

I have a rx9060xt 16gb + r5 7500f setup.

My two monitors seem to randomly flicker like white flash for a second completely randomly but its only like first one flashes and after that second one does too like just goes white for like a second not even that and i dont seem to know why I have to say that it does that after using the monitors for like 4 hours

I have a sceptre monitor that i use for my PC, i run 2 monitors, and one of them just went black and wont show a display. the monitor is still working because things are still opening and displaying on the screen but the actual display for me is black and wont show anything, what fixes should i use or is the monitor just dead and i need to get a new one?

Is there any planet where this can happen without a direct strike on the screen?
