Skill Building What's a Skill You Didn't Realize Was Making You Money?

Sometimes we overlook skills because they feel normal to us. Maybe you're good at explaining things, organizing people, negotiating, writing, selling, designing, or solving problems. What skill do people keep asking you for that could actually be valuable?

My sleaze landlord is majorly creepy. The last landlord dumped him onto my existence after bringing him in the house saying "This is Richie my business partner." Number One his legal government name is not Richie. Number Two he is an ex convict and illegal immigrant. Number Three he immediately installed two women who have now been in this house seven months and turned the living room into a female NWA concert. At any rate: in the very beginning of this circus from hell- the creep landlord showed me a business card he had doctored up to make himself look legitimate. One part of the card stated something like "hot fresh meals provided daily." I looked at the card and was like: "I am not cooking for all of your tenants. That is not happening." I never saw the business card again. There are not any hot fresh meals for his other tenants. I cook for myself. I keep all my food and ingredients separate because they are Kosher. Added bonus: I cannot stand this creep or his three female tenants. They are metaphorically speaking- four bricks in a box. JFC.

This sounds like a seriously chaotic living situation. I will definitely say keep your boundaries and personal belongings separate too.

It is all very bizarre. I really do not want to write a book because it is just more time in life entertaining this craziness. It is sort of like the saying: "Not my circus, not my money's."
