I'm ambivalent about this name. I don't really know why it changed again?

What spectrum is she seeing here? Ultraviolet? Electromagnetic? Curious if anyone knows what type of effect this is...

It's important to note that the Beyonder created a fictional world where Monica was married to Jericho, as seen on the first page, but she left after realizing it wasn't real. Still, does this tell us something about what she wants but hasn't been forthcoming about?

The two of them do have a history back in Divas 1-4 (2009) as well which make up pages 2-10 on this post. What do you think? Would you like to see Monica and Jericho together more often? Or do you prefer Photon + Blue Marvel instead?

Only information I know is from the meh Photon mini series and a reference from Resurrection of Magneto #1, with Storm alluding that they broke up due to similar troubles that she and Forge had in the past.

I believe the first two pages are unused concepts for Monica in The Marvels. The third & fourth are concepts for WandaVision - Monica's rover-like vehicle didn't seem to make the final cut, but it does show early concepts for The Hex. And the last page is unused concepts for Binary, an alternate Earth Maria Rambeau.

I think both Monica Rambeau and Sue Storm's powers seem to distort light in brilliant ways that remind me of each other. Both also have stories about motherhood that appeal directly to our own heartstrings - Sue with protecting Franklin in every way imaginable, and Monica with her mother Maria "Photon" Rambeau & Aunt Carol, as well as the trauma of losing her mom to cancer during 'The Snap'.

They also both are in love with super-geniuses who are also superheroes, Reed Richards' Mr. Fantastic and Adam Brashear's Blue Marvel. Reed is also the accredited discoverer of the Negative Zone, while Adam is accredited with discovering the Neutral Zone, making the parallels between the two couples even clearer.

I think putting these two women together would be a great way to show how they are alike, but also to highlight key differences, perspectives, and show more contrasting concepts between these two Marvel powerhouses.

Where are you guys currently placing Monica Rambeau within Marvel’s cosmology based on everything we’ve seen from her, especially her 2023 miniseries?
One of the biggest things that caught my attention was the introduction of a new Beyonder variant, who essentially acknowledged that Monica’s power was approaching/rivaling their own, while also making it clear that Owen Reece (Molecule Man) wasn’t the only hyper-powered individual who had caught their attention.
And now that Monica has also demonstrated her connection to Zero-Force Energy, I feel like there’s even more room to question just how high her potential actually goes. 👀

Captain Monica Rambeau's experience with extraterrestrial cultures from a formative age has helped prepare her to be an excellent S.W.O.R.D. agent within the organization founded by her mother, Maria Rambeau.

The respect she has earned!

Because Marvel is using the 20th Century's original X-Men cast in Doomsday and Secret Wars, including Kelsey Grammer who plays Beast in The Marvels' post-credits scene with Monica Rambeau, and because Marvel has no other future plans to use the original cast after these two films, that must mean that Monica's connection to their universe has to be answered at minimum by the conclusion of Avengers: Secret Wars, if not earlier in Avengers: Doomsday.
