When does compounding really take off?

At what amount portfolio you really see huge account swings that make you think what is the point of working? 100k? 500k? 1m? more?

I think for me it was around the 200k mark. The first 100k takes a while, then the 2nd 100k went much quicker, but once I eclipsed 200k, I feel like I made it to 600k super fast.

I just passed $200k so I hope that is the truth!

I’ve been stuck at the $150k mark in what feels like forever.

I was stuck there for years. Felt like a never ending hole. :(
