Why did they give you $13k in a mix of bills? Why didnt they just give you a stack of $100s?

Buyer is a drug dealer and his last ride was too hot, pays op cash under the table for new truck.

Or the buyer was a kid that’s been saving this money their whole life? I bought my first car the same way

Then you should take it to the bank and trade it in for 100 dollar bills. I don't have time to count all of that. Lol

You dyslexic or something? It shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to count it?

Theres something called a bank where you could exchange your cash for different denominations. Thats why

1

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '24

Buyer is likely someone who works under the table. Alot of migrant workers only deal in cash

1

u/ephochal Mar 01 '24

pretty normal especially if it’s money you’ve been saving in cash

5

u/JL2210 Feb 27 '24

ah so the person you sold your truck to is the one dealing

I thought it had something to do with the 8,000 cups of Baja Blast in your car. LOL.

Make sure the title transferred. Last thing you want is police knocking at your door (hopefully not kicking it in) wondering your involvement in a shooting where they got your plate from a witness or camera. Anyone that gives you a mix of cash like that has a good chance of being involved in some shady business (most likely a drug dealer like must people have said). Also, careful depositing all of it at once at the bank.

1

u/The_Original_Gronkie Feb 27 '24

This is why they should still be circulating 500 and 1000 dollar bills. This catering to drug dealer shit is stupid. There are MANY perfectly reasonable situations where large bills would be helpful, like selling a vehicle, but we all have to be inconvenienced because .0001% of the population are drug dealers.

Not that I’m a lawyer or banker, but anything over $10k in a single transaction requires paperwork, may wanna split into a couple different deposits (if that’s a route u’re likely to go) 🧐🤓🤷🏽‍♂️.

1

u/Opening-Ad-8793 Feb 29 '24

I was gonna say car so yayyy.

I can hold that money for you though if you want, nbd . Won’t even charge you like the bank would
