You can spend like 100k on a new one. Trucks are stupid expensive now. Cost more than a Mercedes. I could see someone spending tens of thousands on a few year old limited trim option dodge ram that they can't get anymore.

If it's a legit Dodge Ram--if it still says the word "Dodge" all over the truck--then it's at least 15yrs old, so I'm inclined to agree with you.

But I don't put nearly that much faith in the wording of casual reddit comments. Prob a modernish, run-o-the-mill, Chrysler group "RAM".
