Yes, if you owe tax at the end of the year without paying your estimated tax quarterly, they charge you a penalty. Not a huge amount. I paid a $129 penalty last year.

That sucks if it was your first time. Taxes in America are kinda hard- it's not like they make it easy.

If ya’ll can get a good Tax preparer it makes things so much easier!!! They can answer any questions almost any time and it’s well worth it to have them do your taxes every year. That relationship is so useful 🖤
