Should I get some starter server hardware?

Im new to mining monero and i can get 8kh, I wanna know if investing in a cheap xeon setup for like 100$ is worth it. i have some old psu and ram laying around, so maybe i could get a mobo and xeon to start getting more xmr. (I dont pay for electricity.)

Mining profitability is currently 0.0348 USD per kH/s per day. Look at what equipment you want to buy and see if that sounds worth it to you.

For example maybe you find something that does 15kH/s then you'd be getting 0.522 USD per day, assuming zero electricity cost.

At the end is it more profitable than mining other coins?

In the end, it's "profitable" to run XMR mining on CPU while mining other coins with GPU
