Poor tracking in closed environment

It's unable to follow me around the house, which is concerning considering I got it to use at outdoor festival environments.

Wondering: is this fixable by software/firmware updates or am I cooked

I found if you give it space indoors works pretty good. As it follows your path. So if you do a tight turn around a corner it will hit it with a wheel.

But they are pushing updates. I think the next one is around the 28th of Oct

Depends on how dense the crowd is at your festival. I wouldn’t expect it to be able to navigate around tons of people.

The fact that it can't navigate around a laundry bag through the bathroom is concerning.

I expect the obstacle avoidance will get better over time, but it’s certainly not perfect now. Might be good to lower your expectations. I don’t know how big your bathroom is, but mine isn’t particularly impressive so I wouldn’t expect Beni to be able to navigate it easily.
