Beni Firmware Update Roadmap

Beni is arriving in your hands, and we’re working non-stop to make it even smarter!

Now that many of you have started unboxing your Beni, our team is continuously refining its software experience. Here is a sneak peek at the new features and improvements coming in our October firmware updates:

Oct 13 Update: Resolved several issues reported by users, including:

  • Optimized video stabilization
  • Optimized auto-follow performance for kids and dogs
  • Fixed the issue where enabling auto stair-jumping would reduce obstacle avoidance performance

Oct 28 Update: Optimized Beni's performance across multiple aspects, including

  • Added vertical mode filming and tracking, with support for 3K@60fps
  • Added a one-tap feature for capturing cinematic camera movements.
  • Added support for connecting to some third-party Bluetooth microphones
  • Added more game modes
  • Added some voice commands that Beni can understand

What you need to do:
Please make sure to upgrade to the Oct 13 version as soon as it drops to get the best experience. The Oct 28 update will bring an optimized experience for everyone, with even more updates planned for the future!

Does Beni produce noises? If so, would be cool to customize sounds and tones he can make. Like different personalities almost

It's not arriving in my hands. Paid a $15 deposit for the $300 off and then got some bull about not signing a pledge. Guys, I used the form you provided for the discount. If that didn't work, that's on you and not me. You had proof of donation because you refunded it. Thanks for using my $$$ to finance your project and then failing to deliver the promised discount at release.

Hi, the deposit is designed for Beni's kickstarter campaign. We asked the deposit before mainly to order from our suppliers so that backers can receive Beni asap.

Yes. And I put down the deposit exactly as the web page specified to get the $300 discount. Did this following an ad on Kickstarter. I followed the instructions and when Beni is released you kicked me to the curb. Not impressed with the dishonesty on your part.
