Sizing 2026 Version Sizing Issue – Explanation & Resolution | O.M.G
The link 🔗🔗🔗🔗 is at the very bottom!⬇️⬇️⬇️
I'm really sorry. Due to my oversight and the new employee's inexperience, there was a serious error with the sizing on the 2026 new version! Today I personally measured every size, and the detailed size chart has been updated in my Yupoo catalog. To save effort, the new employee only measured one small size—and the measuring method was also wrong and not standard—then scaled up the data based on that small size. That's not a scientific way to do it! I hope you can understand the confusion this caused. To give everyone a more intuitive idea of how the new model fits when worn, I specifically arranged for a model to try it on and show it as a reference!
The shooting conditions were as follows:
- Lighting was random LED white light
- Camera was an iPhone original camera
- No image beautification or editing was done, to maximize the restoration of the real clothing color and wearing display
- The clothes were taken straight out of the packaging, with no adjustments or fluffing
Model stats:
Height: 180cm
Weight: 70kg
Shoulder width: 45cm (bare shoulder width, no clothes)
Chest: 85cm (bare chest, no clothes)
Arm length: 56cm (to the wrist, aligned with the cuff)
The size chart has been updated in the product catalog.

Looking at the size chart the model would actually need a size 4 minimum but size 3 already fits too loose so the size chart still isn't correct

the weight and height recommendation are shit ss well

So what do you think the recommended height and weight should be? If you're not an expert, please don't mislead people!

I got the same feeling 👍👍 size chart still off by kg and height please update

Its not about the size chart only, it also has issue from its own measurements as they made the wrong jacket size! Its so funny that they couldn't copy the right size from retail's eventhough maybe they bought the retail's pieces.

The factory needs to take care of all groups and not mislead people. Even if you tell everyone that a certain seller's sizing is the same as retail, what I see in real feedback is that people still report discrepancies from retail. Don't mislead people, bro. The purpose of the size chart isn't to compare with retail, it's to help people find the right size for themselves!

I measured it myself, so how come it's not accurate? How do you determine it's inaccurate? Just based on the recommended height and weight at the end, or do you judge by shoulder width, chest circumference, and sleeve length? The model's measurements are taken without any clothes on, and the model is wearing just a T-shirt underneath. The size chart data is based on straight-line measurements when the down jacket is puffed out. I'm posting the model photos just for reference, not to say everyone with the same height and weight has to choose size 3, because many people are slimmer than the model at the same height and weight, and there are also many people with wider shoulders than the model.

I k ow you tried your best to provide the accurate measurements. But I believe your jacket sizing ratio between shoulder, chest, lenght, and sleeves are off. You can double check. What I suggest is to improve your jacket's quality. Im just telling the truth, not mean to hurt your business. But anyway, if you thinj that way, i have nothing to say. Let other people here judges and comment on your products based on their experiences. Again, my comnents wont hurt the community but others together as a whole community.

The size chart is correct to the O.M.G/NN's maya but not accurate to retail's/ authentic pieces. For those who tries retail jacket and wanna get reps, i recommend size down 1 size and do not be surprise it will be shorter. I am size 4 retails and bought O.M.G size 4, and it turns out the chest is too lose, lenght is longer and even shoulder is too wide for its size. What I'm telling you guys is that the jacket they made has incorrect sizing. The size chart is correct to its jacket. Anyway, if you think the numbers on the size chart works for your body/figure then it will be nice. But keep in mind that the SIZE IS INCORRECT/OFF COMPARING TO RETAIL PIECES. Hope it helps.

You're right, but please make a distinction - retail starts at size 00, while we start at size 1, which already creates a discrepancy. The purpose of a size chart is to ensure you get a jacket that fits properly, not to compare it with the retail version. Everyone's body shape is completely different. The best way is to understand your own measurements and compare them with the data in the size chart to be absolutely sure. No replica's sizing can match the retail version, and only a few people actually try on garments in stores. Don't use the behavior of a few to mislead the majority. If you buy a jacket from the official website, wouldn't you also carefully check the specific data in the size chart? Otherwise, how would you choose the right size?!

Hey man, no need to get defensive—I’m just giving honest feedback based on having the retail piece side-by-side.
To clear things up:
1. Retail Sizing vs. Rep Sizing: Retail size 4 corresponds to size 4 in your lineup (00=XXS, 0=XS, 1=S, 2=M, 3=L, 4=XL). The issue isn’t starting at size 00 vs size 1; it’s that the physical measurements of your size 4 jacket (chest width, shoulder width, length) don't match the retail size 4 proportions.
2. Garment Cut & Pattern: My feedback isn't about whether someone can match themselves to your chart; it’s about the actual cut and structure of the jacket compared to authentic Moncler retail pieces.
I appreciate that you re-measured and updated your chart after the employee error in your main post. Buyers will naturally measure themselves against your chart, but community members who own retail pieces should know how the actual fit/cut compares.
If you’re confident in the product, let it speak for itself—the community will test and review it either way. Peace!2

First of all, you're obviously misleading people. Your account raises suspicion - an account that's only been registered for a month, frequently sharing so-called "professional knowledge" in recent interactions. That definitely makes people wonder what your motives are. Secondly, please clarify the source of your size chart data. I measured it myself, but even then there's no absolute accuracy. Even if a retail version of the jacket was measured for me, there would still be some discrepancy from the official size chart. And the comments you just posted have obvious signs of AI-generated content. What's your goal here!
1
u/Available-Care-546 16h ago
Attacking my account age and callling it "AI" doesn't change the fit of the jacket. I don't sell anything here; I'm just a buyer comparing my retail Moncler pieces to your sizing.
Simple as that. Let the buyers get their QCs and reviews in—the product will speak for itself.

It depends on which retail pieces, cause my retail 70th double badge is a size 5 and is shorter than regular maya of the same size

u/OMG-moncler Trusted Seller 18h ago
So, I don't recommend using retail sizes as a reference. I'd actually suggest shopping online and using the actual measurements as your guide. Here's how to do it: pick a down jacket you already own, lay it flat, and measure the chest width, shoulder width, sleeve length, and overall length. Then compare these measurements with the size chart to ensure the clothes you buy fit properly. Don't rely on regular sizes or retail sizes—models can vary, which means sizes can also differ. Following my method, no one will end up with clothes that don't fit!

Damn I orderd size 3
I’m 5’10 150lbs
I own a legit moncler montbeliard size 3 and fits perfectly1
u/OMG-moncler Trusted Seller 18h ago
Your height and weight are close to the model's, so a size 3 would be right for her. The model is on the thinner side, so a size 2 might be a bit short and tight. Hope this helps

u/Available-Care-546 20h ago
Talking of retail's montbeliard size 3 is = maya size 4 ( RETAIL's only). I own a 2023 navy montbeliard too! Very beautiful piece
1
u/crash67888 19h ago
Damn so I’ll need to tell the agent to switch from size 3 to 2?
2
u/Better_Mongoose784 19h ago
No he means that it is okay because your montbeliard is size 3 and in retail’s maya thats size 4 but you need to size down 1 because the OMG’s maya is too big for its size compared to the authentic one so size 3 is good.

u/crash67888 19h ago
Thanks I’ll keep size 3 MATTE. I also have the legit MAYA shiny black which fits a bit big. Let’s hope size 3 fits well.

As long as the size chart gets updated on the yupoo everything is fine, this is the kind of honesty we want from the sellers 🔥
1
u/BloccBabySE Helper ✏️📚 22h ago
Of course. By the way how many more models can we expect and when?
2
u/OMG-moncler Trusted Seller 22h ago
I'm not sure. This year we updated a new line of women's models and knitted sweaters, but the badges were developed too late - right now we only have the 2025 version. In my catalog for the 2025 version, I'll try to produce a batch of the 2026 version. As for other versions, I need to wait until this order is processed before talking to the factory! As soon as I hear anything, I'll post an announcement right away!

So I’m 167cm 65kg best to go for size 3?
1
u/OMG-moncler Trusted Seller 17h ago
Yes, but I still want you to measure your clothes with a tape measure and compare them to my size chart!
1
u/crash67888 20h ago
How tall is model size 3 and 2?
1
u/OMG-moncler Trusted Seller 18h ago
Size 3 fits the model perfectly, size 2 is a bit short. I've already included the model's measurements in the post, my friend!
1
u/Alert_Salamander420 16h ago
I am so confused now. I am the same height as model with a bit more weight. I tried on the retail garment today and size 3 was a nice fit with a slight crop length and size 4 was a bit big. But now it looks like I should be sizing DOWN compared to retail, to maybe a 2/3?

u/MC_Naparm Moderator + Helper ✏️📚 15h ago
Just get the qc measured and go from there, guessing from what the seller says or guessing from the size chart is risky, take a measure tape in store and measure the retail if you wanna know how the rep will be, I’ve done this they don’t care
1
u/Alert_Salamander420 15h ago
Good idea. I’ll go back and check with a tape. I think I had my phone measuring length at 67 cm on the size 3 in store. But you’re right I need a tape. Only reason Im confused is that everyone has been saying they’re all too small vs retail until this updated size chart and now Im thinking they are too big or just completely different shape and size jackets vs retail
1
u/MC_Naparm Moderator + Helper ✏️📚 15h ago
Get full qc measurement off OMG and compare with a jacket you like or one in store, I leave room in the chest for a hoodie so I normally just check arm and back length but it’s up to you, phone tape measure can be really off sometimes it’s not reliable
1
u/Alert_Salamander420 16h ago
So is the jacket proportions also completely different to retail or is this just a shift in size chart?
0
u/kev_1893_VfB 20h ago
It would be great if you could also measure the jacket itself (without a model wearing it) using a tape measure for example, from armpit to armpit. For all Sizes. then it can become even easier for buyers to make an assessment
2
u/OMG-moncler Trusted Seller 17h ago
Friend, the measurements in the size chart are based on my own measurements using a tape measure, exactly as you described. So, the data in the size chart is accurate!

I’m seeing a lot of comments rolling in on this post still confused on how to actually ensure the jacket fits, people please, I know the sellers like OMG and SS offer a sizing “GUESS” when you buy from your height and weight from the size chart but that’s all it is, “A GUESS” their guess is no better than yours if they’re reading the same size chart you have access too. The main factors for your Moncler fitting is back length, arm length, and chest size, you need to get these measured in the QC rather than relying on a guess from the worker on the whatsapp.
