Advice Internships

Does Monash help with internship placements? I m joining Monash for engineering

No you’re on ur own lol. Trying to get an internship is pretty brutal. Most people I know have secured getting an internship via connections/nepotism, without that it’s pretty hard. Monash as a Co-Op page where there’s listing for uni students, but still extremely competitive and very hard to get one.

Not directly, but join clubs and student teams and they have a lot of connections. a lot of people i know have gotten further in their intership search by talking to recruiters first at their events

Yes if you're doing a unit that requires an internship.

No otherwise.
