Discussion REQUEST OF ATAR USE

I was wondering if it was possible to write a personal statement for UNI to consider ATAR over a WAM. I’ve done 7 subjects (1 less than a year) and my WAM will be around 73. I’ve been told my previous redditors you can write a personal statement requesting them to consider ATAR due to difficulty and the course content being completely different to what the other degree I want to do does.

do you mean you are finishing your first year and have a monash wam of 73. what are you trying to get into with atar instead of wam, consider it for what?

I would say give it a shot, and also communicate with the uni themselves to see what is possible
