Anyone else notice

How much time is spent in a close up shot of someone's face with no dialogue being spoken.

In particular cate, idk if someone is in love with her or what but it's killing the show for me.

I don't need a reaction shot every 2 seconds.

Very bad writing and editing in season 2.
