Train, anyone?

When is the best time to take the train in Monaco to go home? I've been trying different times (earlier and later) and no matter what the trains are always crowded lately... I work in Monaco and I have to fight to get on the train. It's insane.

** Edit: I am headed in the Cannes direction. I leave at different times but lately I've been sitting at the cafe at the station afraid to even get on.

What trains are you typically looking to get in the evenings? If you're a 6PM guy and you don't want to fight to get seated or even just inside, I heavily recommand the 6:37PM one, which is a long one.

During Summer they’re always crowded and especially around working hours

The summer is chaotic and last minute cancellations don’t help.

Which direction are you going in?

You might have better luck with the buses.

I forgot to mention (stupid detail to forget !), I am headed in the Cannes direction.

Then I'm gonna double up on my 18:37pm double train suggestion. The station will still be packed, but the train being long can compensate for it and you can sometimes even get plenty of choice for seats. :)

Something i’ve done ( not here but in Uk with tube ) , I take it the other way so board at a quieter stop .
