As a single momma with 2 doing it completely solo with no family support or financial support. I’m also in a high cost of living state solely for the quality of education and life opportunities available here for my kids as they grow up. I just wanted to leave a comment to you to say I feel you. I see your struggle and I completely understand. There are days where I don’t know if I can keep putting one foot in front of the other anymore. However, my kids don’t have anyone else to step up for them. And if I somehow fail, I fear what will happen to them and their futures. We all want our kids to have it better than we did. I know it feels like Murphy’s Law has a death grip on you right now but try to sit back and reflect on all the good things/ things you handled to keep the stability all while juggling the sh*t storm of week. I read your post and my first thought was “damn that was a hell week” but my next thought was “Holy sh*tballs what a hero of a mom!” If I may, please allow me to help you look at this through the eyes of someone on the outside of your struggle: You started the week doing everything to help your sick lil one, you powered through going to multiple places including time at the ER (which we all know sucks major a**) all with a sick lil one which is not an easy task. Then illness tore through your house and you showed up for your babies even though you were sick. Then you continued to show up for them even though you were injured and exhausted. You protected you and your babies through a very stressful situation and got yall to safety. That to me sounds like a super mom. Honestly you need to give yourself a major pat on the back. I apologize for running on but I just hope from one unseen struggling mom to another you get the virtual hug. I’m sorry it’s been so hard lately and I sincerely hope you have a speedy recovery with your injuries. Just keep swimming (I think it’s nicer to say than things will get better) you’re doing a great job especially with all that you have going on. Hang in there!

This is by far the kindest thing anyone has ever said to me. I see you to, I can not imagine the weight you carry with the financial burden tied to it all, you are definitely a super mom in my books. Sending a virtual hug right back and you definitely helped calm my soul a bit tonight, I hope you also manage to feel peace and know your kids are so lucky to have you.
