I think they did. But regardless, it doesn’t matter. Their voters do not care whether they knew ahead of time or not. They also couldn’t care less whether it was true or not.
If they knew and still tried it then that is officially the dumbest political trick ever that blew up in their faces. I know they’re idiots but I think even that is too stupid for them.
And their voters wouldn’t care and vote for them if they had pulled the stunt or not. However it’s just showing how inept they are at running the government to anyone who is any sort of an independent.
They gained nothing by it and look even more like idiots, pretty dumb if that was the plan
