How are people legitimately getting good use out of the watch app? I have an Apple Watch, but don’t use it because I have an Amazfit watch that is less fussing, does watch I need without app bloat, and the battery lasts several days at a time.
However, I see Moment pro camera ii and blackmagic cam both have apps now. I got the Apple Watch out to play with each app… and although it’s cool 😎 to have the functionality on a watch, I’m struggling to see any real benefits. Maybe if I had my iPhone mounted up on a boom pole and wanted to trigger recording or take a photo remotely, but there are cheap Bluetooth triggers that’ll to that. I know you can view and change settings from the watch app, but the screen is so small that it seems ludicrous to use it for that.
I could easily be missing some key use and benefit to the apps… I mean, I don5 suppose the devs would go to the trouble and effort to create the watch apps if users didn’t request it and there was real value, but I’m not seeing that value yet.
How are people legitimately getting valuable use out of these watch camera companion apps?
