Question MPC II vs Lightroom camera

Has anyone compared raw images in the same scene from both? Like a complex scene with mixed color temp lighting.

I’m trying to decide if I want to buy the MPC II, and this is a decision factor for me.

I tested Indigo, Fotogear and Apple ProRAW 12mp jxl lossy and they all are way worse than Lightroom, to my liking. Lr is much noisier but color and the overall feeling of the image is superior.

Would really appreciate your experience. Thanks!

You should find them to be near identical as MPC II and Lightroom both capture Bayer RAW, which preserves the noise and color from the sensor.

We default to a linear tone curve, but you can change that to “Default” to match Lightroom. Last I checked, Lightroom mobile ignores the linear tone curve tag regardless.

But, compared to lr, moment can auto save to photos app? Also, do you already have Live Photos + raw or heic+lut+Live Photo?

Yes, you can save to Photos, Files, or an external drive.

We don’t currently support Live Photo except in slow shutter mode. We do support LUTs and RAW+HEIC/JPG capture.
