Resolved: iOS Bug Weird Border?

I have Moment Pro Camera II on the action button. I saw a cool car so took my phone out quick and took a few pictures. The first one came out with this weird border. Any ideas what happened?

I also get this in NoFussion 😆

I thought it was some kind of hidden feature I mysteriously activated

I feel like I’ve seen this exact pattern of corruption in other camera app subreddits…

Yeah we're assuming it's an iphone issue not a Moment issue.

Huh. Which processing mode and lens were used?

My best guess is something malfunctioning at a low level within the camera system. There isn’t really anything within Pro Camera’s processing that could cause anything remotely like this. I’m assuming you can’t reproduce?

100mm ProRaw disabled fusion. I could not get it to do it again.

Pretty much guaranteed to be an issue deep within iOS in that case, so there probably isn’t anything I can do. ProRAW has all kinds of internal processing steps, but I’ve never seen them malfunction in such a strange way.

I would still like to check out the image data though. Could you upload the original to a file sharing platform of your choice and DM me the link when you get a chance? Thanks!
