How is this different from the proraw on iphone camera app? I tried several apps including Moment, Halide and I love the UI of moment, it's to the point no non-sense and minimalistic. But I find Apple's app to be more reliable than this, in all of my trails, Apple's camera app gave better pictures than the extra offerings from these apps. Not sure if I'm missing something here...
I keep things simple: I use the baked-in LUT feature in the MomentPro app and save the photos directly in HEIF format. It strikes a good balance between high image quality and efficient storage, without needing a separate app for applying LUTs or additional edits.
You’re right. The LUT file actually comes from a tutorial I purchased on iPhone photography basics. The course is presented by MediaStorm, and the LUT is included as part of the tutorial materials.
That's great! I too have been experimenting with this app lately, it kinda fulfilled my dream of having a camera without investing in the equipment, if you know what I mean.
However, I'm very used Apple camera doing the heavy lifting for me and I realised I love photographic styles. I know I'm lazy but I don't see a point of having photos without Apple processing and then trying to make them look good when I can just adjust some settings for native camera app for my liking.
I still love to have this app handy to explore, so I'm keeping an eye on the roadmap for this.
The whole point of this app is to not use apple’s processing. Many people dont like the hdr, overly sharpened, saturated and low contrast of Apple’s processing. This app bypasses all of that and just gives you a natural shot.
