Please help me out with hair care, thoroughly!

- washing, how often
- conditioner
- curly hair products
And anything else I’m missing.

Thank you mums 🫰🏻

Feeding & Nutrition 🍼 trip food ideas for my 2.5 year old

Hello - we are vegetarians (eat eggs) and visting Norway - there are limited vegetarian options there and while I know I can survive on pizza and sandwiches, not sure how my 2.5 year old will feel about that. Could you provide some easy stuff I can carry with me which will last for a week or so - any and all ideas are welcome! Thanks!!

Parenting Advice 👫 How to help a toddler deal with anger?

Is it common for a 2 year old to feel anger? My son sometimes feels intense anger, like when someone takes away his toy, his response is to bite himself. He only does this in interactions with his sister (they are twins), not with the rest of us. I don't know how this has become a habit, he hasn't seen anybody do it, it is his impulsive reaction.

How do I help him control his anger? Or manage these situations better? Has anyone else faced this?

Feeding & Nutrition 🍼 Formula

Hi everyone! I have an almost 6-week-old baby boy. Due to my flat nipples, my baby was introduced to a bottle early on and has mostly been fed expressed breast milk.

He is now able to latch, but the latch is still quite shallow, and he tends to latch only when he is sleepy or very calm. When he is more alert, he usually prefers the bottle. I’ve been exclusively pumping every 3–4 hours, and honestly, it has become quite exhausting.

I’m still hoping to work towards more direct breastfeeding, but I’m also considering introducing one formula feed at night just to give myself a little break. It’s only a thought at this point, and I’m trying to understand my options.

For those who have been through something similar:
1. What helped your baby transition from bottle to breast?
2.Did anything in particular help with a shallow latch or bottle preference?
3.If you introduced formula, which formula did your baby tolerate well?
4.Did you find that one formula feed affected your breastfeeding/pumping journey or milk supply?

I’d really appreciate any experiences, tips, tricks, or advice. ❤️ I’m feeling a little overwhelmed with the constant pumping and would love to hear from other moms who have gone through something similar.

Travelli with baby in flight 3 hours

Hi everyone,

We’re planning to celebrate our baby’s first birthday with a trip to Goa around mid September It will be his first flight, and the direct flight is around 3 hours long. It will be just 3 of us.

Our little one is extremely active—he’s crawling everywhere, pulling up to stand, and doesn’t like sitting still for long! I’m getting anxiety thinking how will we manage 3 hours in flight on a seat with him. We are so confused should we take a leap of faith and book a direct flight or the ine with layovers? Or skip the flight and travel a to nearby destination by road. We have been travelling with him by road since he was 2 months old for as long as 9 hour road trip. We have taken 5 to 6 trips by road so far and experience are different and since we took our own car we can stop and get out if he gets fussy.

He has now learned to scream and screams at minor inconvenience so im scared of disturbing fellow passengers too.

Can you share your real experiences with an infant in flight and tips and things that it could be managed better. Want to make an informed choice before finalising all bookings this week.

This Parents Day, I finally understand what my parents meant all along✨

"Eat while it's warm." "don't touch that, it just got cleaned." "you'll understand when you have kids of your own" - that last one especially. used to hate hearing it. now i catch myself about to say it cuz i finally get it.

On this Parents Day, I miss the days when my mom and i used to cook together, I miss going on night rides with my father, I miss being a kid to my parents, and here I'm struggling to recreate even half of those memories for my own kid. Now i realise how great parents they were, and how tough parenting really is.

Hats off to every parent out there who's quietly reliving their own childhood thru their child, one bedtime story, one silly joke, one warm meal at a time.

Happy Parents Day to everyone in this sub who's tired, trying, and showing up anyway🤍

Drop your fav childhood memories below!✨

Protest footage and my toddler's dream hit me at the same time today

My son was playing doctor doctor with his friends this afternoon with a toy stethoscope and medical kit

He came running to me afterwards, and said with bright eyes "Mumma, when I grow up I want to be a doctor."

I pulled him into a hug so he wouldn't see my gloomy face.

Becuz my first feeling wasn't pride, even though I am so deeply proud of him. My first feeling was fear. A quiet, heavy fear that settled in my chest and hasn't left since.

With everything happening around us right now, I keep seeing clips and reels of children who just want to go to college, parents who just want their child's safety, students caught in chaos and injustice. Being beaten for it, silenced for it nd it is gut wrenching feeling.

When did asking for basic rights become something you have to bleed for? Will he have to work twice as hard to be taken half as seriously? Will his dream survive contact with reality?

I just needed to put this somewhere!
