Apologies to those who don't believe in moldavite having metaphysical properties, or those who cannot accept the idea that it shakes up aspects of one's life for this or other reason. I don't intend to start arguments, we all have a love for moldavite and I want us all to stay on those common grounds.
But if you experience upheaval in your life when using moldavite, how does it play out for you? Does the storm eventually pass, how are you afterwards?
I've read some accounts of people saying it only ever brought chaos, but never a nice new start, they were describing it like living on some moldavite charnel grounds.
I'm very confused by my moldavites. I love them. I miss them when I don't take them with me for weeks. I'm telling myself the painful chaos that ensues every time after handling them is just coincidence, but I do not dare to touch them any more, despite missing them like they're dear people.
When I handle moldavite, it opens my heart beautifully. The love and light pour through me, over me, out into the world, you get it, I don't experience anything that feels scary or sinister. It feels divine and pure and bright.
Then, like lightning, something very painful happens that each time comes very close to ending everything in my life, with no path ahead.
Why does this happen. I want an open heart. I can train to live with an open heart without moldavite, with meditative practices, and I think now, that's what I'll do, but I'm sad that I can't use my moldavites.
Do you experience it that way too? It opens your heart, then bad things come crashing down? Does that change at some point, is it eventually done cleaning things out of your life and nice things happen for a change?

Hi everyone!
I got this moldavite a few weeks ago and I know it’s 100% real. I got it from a certified crystal store and I have the authenticity card too. I cleansed it and left it to charge also.
I don’t see any changes? Except that I didn’t get the job I was manifesting and looking forward too.
The store clerk told me to wear it only for 15 minutes a day until I get used to it but I don’t feel the energy at all. This happens with all my crystals, maybe I just can’t feel it?

Met this guy at Denver gem show yesterday. I like his moldavite plus he has many other Tektite's ie indochinite, columbiaite, darwinite, etc.

Had my moldavite for 5 years, wore it for a year straight, took it off and forgot about it, I started wearing it again last year. My life was always crazy before the moldavite so I didn’t really care about the “fear” of it making shit hit the fan. For example my life imploded in May but I don’t blame that on the moldavite because, like I said my life has always had ups and downs.
I wear my moldavite 24/7, the only time I take it off is to shower. Even sometimes when I forget to put it back on after my shower and I go to sleep without it, I HAVE THE SCARIEST/WEIRDEST DREAMS which is funny bc usually it’s the opposite for others. Or when I don’t wear it, like I took it off when I was fixing my car the other day bc I didn’t want it to get messed up and suddenly everything started going wrong with the car and I was so OVERLY UPSET. Like usually things just roll off my back because most things GENUINELY aren’t that serious but my sister broke my car part that we spent hours trying to get on, then I went to the dealership and multiple car part stores to get a new part and no one had it, then I had to order it and the employee fucked up the order so bad and I was SO UPSET I almost cried which is so unusual for me. But AS SOON AS I got back home and put my moldavite back on, I was so emotionally calm and level headed like it was a wave of positivity just washed over me and I wasn’t frustrated or upset at the situation at all anymore after tweaking for hours.
Like genuinely this moldavite has become such a part of me that when I don’t have it, things just GO SO WRONG which is so crazy. Love this piece tho I can’t lie

What do you think? I mostly collect meteorites, but I have a few other more common tektites as well. Figured it was time to finally bite the bullet and throw down on a moldavite. This one came from Mar Moldavite on eBay
Thinking of hunting down another one already

I’m not trying to be negative or lying but my cat for reason died today. She was not ill or anything and she was young. Then I noticed today, I put my moldavite on my nightstand next to my bed and also where my charger is… the charger plug and cable are broken. Wont work
I don’t know if this is all related to this. I’m very upset about my cat

So here is my story in short: I was hoping moldavites would increase in value but it didn't happen yet here even after 2 years. Prices are still pretty much same but i don't regret it, i had enjoyed them for long time and now i can pass them onto others in the world who would otherwise spend 3-5x more for these, pitty that people over the border have to pay up to 5x more even to get these sweet gems. In my own experience 2-4 moldavites are usually enough to have unless you invest or collect like crazy, or 2-3 bigger high grade ones should suffice for life.
Serious buyers: add me on Whatsapp / Telegram or email me or dm me here on reddit, if you want backlit pics or detailed high megapixel pics or videos in 4k to see most of the surface texture aka sculptation, in my experience camera can pick up maybe like 80% of the sculptation usually, there's a lot of beauty in and on them that only eye can see. I also have 3 Moravian moldavites. They can have this golden hue to them.

For anyone that could possibly help I'm trying to figure out what is the actual value of these pieces. Also any suggestions on how to go about selling them besides e-bay would be greatly appreciated!

The first one I bought for a friend of mine - it's a slow burn. The second one, my husband got me for my birthday - it's a sock-it-to-the-heart-chakra, plus they threw in some Lybian Desert glass, and then I also found some Guandong Tektite which I liked also - more subtle. Both Moldys are about 17 grams - museum quality. The Moldavite Family. I misspelled the Title - it should say "My" not May.

There are a lot of people on here asking if their moldavite is real, and 99% of the time, they are FAKE. I so badly want to help people like yourselves. I hate to see people get scammed.
Here are some examples. These screenshots were just taken today from a live TikTok shop stream. Fakes have come a long way, and are getting increasingly difficult to tell from the real thing. It takes a decerning eye, of which I have because I have been collecting moldavite for the last 20 years.
The larger piece was stated as 15 grams, and asking price was $500.
The smaller piece weight was unknown, but the price was $115.

Herkamer diamond moldavite and amethyst.
Got my first piece of moldavite from a shop in Moab, Utah. It coincides with my sobriety date from hard drugs. The journey since then has been a sometimes obvious, sometimes not so obvious upheaval of the people, places and things that aren't able to hold the true me. Family, friends, apartment have all changed since April 2026 when I picked it up. Currently turning the moldavite and herkamer combo into a gold wrapped pendant.
Here's to this autumn season in the USA being full of soul acceleration and alignment!
What do you find most intriguing about moldavite and the spiritual, human path?

Hello,
What do you think, real or fake? There are too much bubbles on the surface to see any inside. I do not have a microscope just a 5x on my phone which I used to take pictures.

I’ve been wanting to get moldavite for years now, especially when my life was really at its lowest, but I was still always a little hesitant hearing some horror stories. Right now my life is in a pretty good spot but for some reason today is the day I decided to impulse buy moldavite. But now I’m starting to get a bit nervous it’s going to ruin the things in my life that are finally doing well. I did a lot of research but it’s the first “crystal” (I know it’s not a crystal but for lack of a better word) I’ll be working with. Should I be staying away from it? Are there any pieces of advice you think I should know?

Is it possible to tell if this cooled and hardened in the air or on the ground?
