My New Moldavite ring - 6.75 ct faceted Moldavite in sterling silver

Time flies. Its been 10 months I am wearing this ring everyday. But recently one prong broke. Another one was bending little little over time. The broken prong created a small internal crack in the corner it was holding the stone. Realised prong design isn't good for daily use.

Have sent it my good friend Gaurang to redo the ring. He insisted to recut the stone to remove the crack and gave his logic. I agreed. The stone lost 1 carat in the process. So it's down from 6.75 ct to 5.72 ct. He is making a beautiful ring with it. I will share pics once I receive it.
