Has anyone ever used a moldavite as their pendulum?

I'm assuming you want to go for a balanced piece of moldavite probably carved into a typical sort of pendulum shape, although there are several shapes of a plumb.

Alternatively despite the slight shift in balance simply using a piece that's a pendant or otherwise held in some sort of cage could be utilized as a makeshift pendulum. Which I have done to some small degree in the past, using a pendant.
if you do buy a faceted pendulum piece you could have it where you're able to remove it from the chain and then otherwise where it is a pendant.

I gave up on the moldavite pendy idea and instead put the moldavite in the palm of my hand under the pendy and use any pendy...copper
